After the eviction of the Auret Street recyclers mid-project 1to1 and Counterspace sought to speak out against the uncritical eviction of occupants of buildings in Johannesburg’s inner city.
The project aimed to create awareness around the issue and employed a visual method of superimposing the ‘before and after’ both photographically and illustrative.
