1to1 partnered with the Pretoria Picture Company to enter the Cement and Concrete Institutes
2012 In Zero Film Competition in order to produce Waterborne.

The film is essentially a passive service delivery protest representing the community of Slovo Park’s service aspirations, not wanting to play into the typical depiction of poverty and despair, but rather capture the cohesion and hope that many informal settlement neighborhoods share.

Ama Ndlovu explores the connections of culture, ecology, and imagination.

Her work combines ancestral knowledge with visions of the planetary future, examining how Black perspectives can transform how we see our world and what lies ahead.
