1to1 – Agency of Engagement and Shyam Patel, a masters student in Architecture at the University of Johannesburg began working with Thumi of the iKasi Gym to develop an integrated design strategy for the expansion of the iKasi Gym.


Shyam and Thumi’s proposal calls for a multi-phased incremental development that allows iKasi
to grow slowly and expand Thumi’s other activities such as Yoga, Boxing, Art and Health Lifestyle
Consulting.

Ama Ndlovu explores the connections of culture, ecology, and imagination.

Her work combines ancestral knowledge with visions of the planetary future, examining how Black perspectives can transform how we see our world and what lies ahead.
