Codes of Engagement

Since 1to1 was formed in 2010, the underlying ethos of how we practice has been at the core of
our praxis. We ha e collected and developed several layers of input around a ‘code of ethics’ or
‘code of practice’ that we are working on as a live support tool.

Most recently we have hosted a workshop at the University of Johannesburg’s Post Graduate School of Architecture, under their Critical Practice module we hosted a workshop where students worked with members from our broader network to workshop a proposed set of codes and practice guides.

The outcomes were very rough, but the basis from which 1to1 will work further to develop and
grow.
